Barbara Amos has been involved with regional, national and international public art competitions. While oil paint is her primary medium, she creates site specific work in diverse materials including photography, video and steel. She graduated from the University of Waterloo and has maintained an active studio practice since 1988. Her work has been placed in the US Library of Congress and is in many collections, including the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Fairmont Hotels, RBC Dominion Securities and Esso Resources. She is represented by galleries and art consultants across North America.
